The ploughing involves cleaning all soil and detritis back to the edge of the metalled carriageway (edge of tarmac) and cleaning all drainage points, this then allows the water to be kept into the side of the road and reach those drainage points that are in place.
I have issued an order to clean from the top of Lincombe right down to Lee sea front, this work will commence on Thursday 3 March 2011.
